Shabbat

Shabbat at Temple Beth El of Hollywood is a unique, spiritual and musical experience. The warmth of
our congregation fills the sanctuary each Friday night as we welcome the Sabbath with songs and prayers.

Saturday mornings offer a different variety of services.  Once a month we celebrate Shabbat in the spirit of a festival with Shabbat Stock. Yoga, a foot-stompin, barefoot Jew-grass Revival service, mimosa sampling, a coffee truck, and your favorite canine friends…on blankets and lawn chairs. ALL are welcome! The Rabbi will also lead intimately sized virtual services for those interested in a slightly more traditional (albeit online) Shabbat experience…

Rock ‘n Soul Shabbat is a fan favorite. Once a quarter, we have a jam session in our sanctuary where Cantor Manny, along with a rock band, leads us in a contemporary service. Make sure to get a front row seat for this FREE, live event.  And we LOVE our annual Gospel Shabbat, where some of those traditional Friday night favorites get a re-do, with Gospel melodies and spirit. This service is one of our yearly highlights.
