Kundalini Yoga at Temple Beth El with Jiwan Kaur ( Jamie Mordecai)

Have you felt like you want to let go of stress, tension and/or muscle aches? Enjoy a full deep breath and connect to your inner realms of peace and light?sounds delightful and it is! Come join us for a Monday night class or Wednesday morning yoga I look forward to meeting you soon !

Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is an ancient, sacred science that awakens your utmost potential.using specific techniques for breathing, movement, sound current and meditation to create an authentic union within each of us. The benefits are immediate and measurable, while giving you tools to experience more peace, well being and contentment. All levels are welcome and chairs can be provided for those who are not comfortable sitting on the floor , postures can be modified. .  A symphonic Gong is played, the  sound immersion experience elevates your vibrations, as well as enlivens your whole being, aligning you with your highest expression of truth and purity of heart. The vibrations of the sound current can be felt throughout the body, and even continue to reverberate long after the Gong falls silent.

Please read below from Yogi’s who have been taking the class for years , some from members of our Temple!

If you open a dictionary you will read that Kundalini Yoga is a discipline that connects the mind, body, and spirit by movement through different physical postures while you meditate and focus on breath work. Jiwan Kaur (our own Jamie Mordecai) guides a small group of men and women of all ages to become limber of mind and body.  She never pressures the participants to achieve more than they are able.  Nobody is judged; everybody wins.  Kudos to our Kundalini leader.
from Walter Dorfman,

Kundalini yoga is the right yoga for me!.  Jiwan makes me work hard and sweat it out, but the reward comes when it’s over, leaving me with an overall glow, a light step and elevated feeling.  I am totally addicted.Frieda Eshet

"I'm a temple member and have known Jiwan for years.  After constantly hearing about the class, two years later I finally decided to try it.  I was immediately hooked.  Jiwan is a terrific teacher.  She not only teaches the physical aspects of kundulini yoga but helps you to understand and embrace the spiritual aspects as well.  I highly recommend the class to anyone seeking improvement in their lives.Nancy Chamides

Finding Jiwan Kaur and Kundalini yoga has been a blessing.  I had been driving out to a yoga studio in Coral Springs on Saturdays when Jiwan substituted for the regular instructor.  I was delighted to hear that she teaches at the Temple on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings..  Kundalini yoga has touched my mind  and spirit and the breath work has begun clearing my body of dis-ease.  I'm totally committed to my kundalini practice and to Jiwan Kaur who is an amazing reacher..Suzanne
