Your Streaming Shabbat Services My husband and I are transplanted New Englanders now living in a small town in West Virginia. Given the lack of a significant Jewish presence in the immediate area, the streaming services from Temple Beth El are a blessing for us (toda raba!) and are something greatly anticipated each week. Your online services enrich our davening and we almost feel transported there each week as we chant and sing along with you, relishing every niggun and prayer in the siddur. Given our distant location and our financial situation, we are of course unable to be members, but we'd like to at least consider ourselves “unofficial” Friends of Temple Beth El (or perhaps at least “distant relatives” of your congregational family), sharing both the online services themselves as well as personal hopes, dreams, triumphs and tragedies of the members fortunate enough to be physically present each week. (My husband jokes that we are VJ's … Virtual Jews). In any event, we thank you profusely for the opportunity to experience and share in your streaming Shabbat services (Yishar Koach!) and sincerely hope and pray that you will continue providing this wonderful and valuable online service. While we may not be in position to participate or contribute further, please know that your efforts are greatly appreciated and the members of Temple Beth El are in our hearts and prayers.
Many thanks!
